Best Western Main Street Inn

We found a room here during a two day, one night trip to Las Vegas when hardly anywhere else had availability. The hotel and room were nice, and the beds were very comfortable. Fremont Experience was about a mile away on foot, and it was awesome. The surrounding area felt really sketchy and scary. Also, people gathered outside the bar near the rooms and were extremely loud at 3 a.m. I can sleep through anything, so it didn't bother me much, but someone who can't might want to know.

I was in Vegas for work, not play, and this place was close enough to downtown that I could walk around Fremont and explore after work. For what I paid, it was great: clean, everything worked, and the bed was moderately comfortable. We arrived late and were hungry, so the front desk person suggested Boston's Pizza. That was a great tip, the food was really good, just like he said. I'd stay here again.

Don't let the location put you off, this hotel is a hidden gem. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, and it's pet friendly. There's also a good restaurant with lunch and dinner specials and gaming. Fremont Street and Cashman Center are very close.

I won't be coming back. I booked by phone for a Saturday, but when I arrived, staff said the reservation was for the night before and that I'd be charged for missing it. I'm completely sure I gave the right date. They hadn't called or emailed me that day, and I never received an email confirmation at all. After arguing, I paid for the night I hadn't asked for, then paid for that same night again because it was the only hotel with space left. The staff were rude, the room's AC smelled, and the streets felt very dangerous at night. If you have to stay here, double check that they recorded your details correctly.
