The front desk staff were genuinely kind, and the price and location worked perfectly for a Vegas stay. If you just need a place to sleep and recharge, this did the job. I’d read the negative reviews beforehand and thought they were pretty silly. People should read things properly before complaining. And if smoke bothers you, Vegas probably isn’t for you, since people smoke all over the city.

I spent well over a thousand dollars here and left feeling robbed. The only employee who treated me with compassion and class was the man of color. While I was moving out, the late night desk worker said they couldn’t lend me a cart because it had things in it. The manager was another problem. I told her I was going to several job interviews, then came back after being at an interview at the STRAT for an hour and a half. She insisted she had seen me earlier, though I was confused because I hadn’t been there. I found her behavior lacking empathy and felt she was abusing her authority. I’ve lived here for 25 years, and I won’t recommend this place to any of my many friends or associates. A motel five minutes south, Desert Star, may be in a rough area, but they at least listen, show understanding, and don’t yell or talk over customers.

Misty at the front desk really came through for me and my friends. We were stuck with no rooms available in Vegas, and she got us settled quickly and made sure we were looked after. The place isn’t luxury, but the service was great, and Fremont is an easy walk away.

Free parking was a plus, and it’s very close to the Fremont Street experience. The room was small, but it had what I needed for Vegas. It was surprisingly quiet for downtown, which is hard to find. The woman at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating that she’s the reason I’d stay again if I’m driving through Vegas.
