Rodeway Inn

We stayed in late June and found the place clean, comfortable, and so affordable. The owner even called ahead to make sure the AC would be running and the room cool before we arrived. Our room had what we needed, including a fridge, microwave, and cable TV, and the outdoor pool was well cared for. The furnishings are simple. It's about a 10-minute drive to the Norman Rockwell museum and lots of hiking trails. We'd definitely stay here again when we're in the Berkshires.

This isn't a fancy hotel, but the service feels deluxe. I called about some special restrictions, and Dinesh understood right away and personally promised to take care of our requests. The room was very clean, the beds felt fresh and comfortable, and there was more hot water than we needed for showers.

The manager at the front desk was nice, and the room was in decent shape overall. The peeling weather seal around the door didn't really affect my stay. Service was decent, though I wasn't happy that they wouldn't refund us after my friend and I made a booking mistake, even with the hotel not full. They used to offer continental breakfast before COVID and still haven't brought it back.

The grounds were tidy, it was quiet, and the other guests were courteous and friendly. The owner was helpful and very nice, and the rooms were clean for a reasonable price. Restaurants, the Premium Outlet, and specialty shops on Main St. are nearby. They also accept pets if you arrange it with the owner ahead of time. I'd recommend staying here and would come back on another trip. All around, it worked out well.
