The beds were comfortable, and the room had everything we needed, including a mini frig, microwave, and coffee maker. It's a brand new hotel, so everything was clean. The staff were friendly last night, and check-in took about two seconds, the fastest I've ever had despite traveling a lot. But whenever the person below us shut their door, our bed vibrated, and the shower kept swinging from slightly chilly to burning hot.

The room and hotel are new and clean, and Kam stayed calm and understanding during a stressful evening check-in. My reservation was in the computer, but for some reason they couldn't check me in. There was a big line, and no manager on duty, but Kam figured out a way to get us into our room. I'm taking off a star because this Courtyard doesn't include free breakfast like other Courtyards do.

We left early and put our keys at the front desk so housekeeping could get an early start. Then the male manager came out, accused us of being involved in an altercation the night before, and threatened us without first asking for our side. We didn't start the altercation, but apparently that didn't matter. The management was horrible. I've already filed a formal complaint with corporate.

I thought I'd found a new place to stay in the valley because after the hotel's first opening issues, the EV chargers worked fine on my next visits. I could wake up fully charged and head out for a full day of work. On this latest stay, though, charging cost $0.35 per kW, compared with $0.23 per kW at the Supercharger in town. I could live with that and charge overnight, but then I found out they charge $5 per hour once charging stops and the car sits idle. That's a congestion fee even when I'm the only one using any of the six stations, or I have to set an alarm to move the car. The Courtyard's Lewiston owner either hasn't thought through the policy or doesn't care about keeping loyal customers. A $60 parking charge in Lewiston Idaho by morning would have left me pretty miffed. The clerk didn't know the policy, and nobody else was available to talk to. I'll stay at one of the several other area hotels with free overnight charging.

It's brand new and lovely, with carpet that still has some cush to it. The TV tilts, and the outlets take regular plugs, USB, and USB-C. The shower is walk-in with no door, and has North 39 shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Towels feel a bit cheap, though I imagine they need replacing often. There's a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot, plus a blow dryer and iron. The blackout blinds work well. You don't need to insert your key card to turn on the lights, but the main switch has to be on or they won't work. Turn it off and the person in the bathroom will yell at you! :D The wall thermostat was handy. The bed is on the firm side without being hard, and there are both dense and softer, fluffier pillows. There's no free breakfast, though we didn't eat at the hotel. The door is heavy, and I can picture an elderly couple having a hard time pushing it open. Nothing bad to say, two thumbs up!
