Mount Coolidge Motel

The grounds are kept up well, and the rooms were very clean. The people running the place are kind and clearly take pride in their work. When there was a payment problem at check-in, the man at the desk, who I assume is the owner, was patient and helpful. I loved staying here and would choose it over an overpriced hotel. We were here August 22-24 and will be back.

The room was a nice size, renovated, and really quiet. Staff were so friendly, and whenever we asked for something, the answer was, "no problem." It was a worthwhile stay, so don't let the Google star rating put you off.

The owners are friendly and accommodating, and the grounds are kept in good shape. Rooms are spotlessly clean. The amenities are simple but suit the riverside setting: there's a fire pit, outdoor grilling, and a heated pool. We've loved our stays at Mt. Coolidge. Don't pass over this hidden gem.

You can see the river behind the motel from the window, which is a nice view. The beds are comfortable and there are cable channels, though the walls are a little thin. The staff are really nice, and they gave us a discount at the bakery they also run.
