The Wilbur Lititz, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

For an individual stay, I think you'd love this hotel. The staff and the hotel itself were wonderful, and the front desk and restaurant were great. We held a corporate meeting there and ordered catering, which was fine. The outside-food rule makes sense to me, but one guest brought doughnuts as a Fauschnut Day gift and we were accused of bringing in outside food. Instead of checking what happened or apologizing, Lynsay Warner said she wouldn't charge me, as though she were doing me a favor, and told me to give notice next time. The catering manager seemed nice, but I assume they reported the doughnuts, since Lynsay never came by and emailed in a passive-aggressive way instead. I wouldn't work with Lynsay Warner again. We spent a lot on breakfast and lunch catering, rooms, and the bar, so a thank-you or an apology for the accusation would've been better. It's a shame, because I'd planned to hold more meetings there. I'd come back if the sales team treated me better.

We only had two nights, but I'd happily return for a longer stay. The staff were kind and friendly, and glad to suggest local restaurants. When my partner wanted a second bathrobe, I texted the front desk around 10pm and they brought one up within 30 minutes. The robe in our room was very comfortable. We were on the second floor and heard no noise from above or below at night. The beds were soft, and the rooms were in excellent condition. The Wilbur Lititz is the best hotel I've stayed at. It's still fairly new, with the old brick charm of the former chocolate factory.

Kate welcomed us by email and was a wonderful host, and the whole team made a point of making our toddler feel special throughout our vacation for her birthday. That was my favorite part of the stay. The hotel is fun and sits right in the middle of a charming town with lots of shops. It takes its theme from the former chocolate factory that used to occupy the building. The factory is now across the street, where you can pick up chocolates. We loved the whole visit. A big thank you to the staff!

The people working here are some of the nicest I've met in hospitality, and they really make the stay. We love coming here for a relaxing break at least twice a year. The rooms are lovely, gorgeous, and cozy, with original old chocolate factory details like wooden beams giving them their own style. Molten Brown toiletries add a luxurious touch, and there's free Wilbur chocolate at check-in. If you're there over the winter holidays, the decorations make you feel warm inside. Hilton done right.
