Holiday Inn Express & Suites Locust Grove by IHG

We got in at 1am, so I called ahead. They were nice on the phone and left a note for the night staff. Zohria was pleasant and accommodating when we arrived. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and I have no complaints about the stay. A great place to stop.

We travel from Indiana to Florida each winter, and this was our first time staying at the Locust Grove, GA location. We had a very good experience and plan to include this inn in future trips. Chris at the front check-in desk was pleasant, respectful, attentive, and very accommodating. He treated us as if we were important to the success of the business, and set a customer service standard others could aim for.

The facility was clean and well kept, and the team was excellent. Zorhia was especially helpful, gracious, and kind at check-in, and Lisa was just as welcoming at checkout. As a business owner, I’d want team members like them representing my business and serving customers. Their warm, friendly service means I’ll be back when I travel between Florida and Kentucky. The room was clean and the bed decent, but that’s where the compliments end. I slept through breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. The walls were so thin I could hear the TV, microwave, coughing, and bathroom door next door, plus footsteps from upstairs and next door. The doors slam if you let them, and people did. From my side of the building I could also hear traffic, trains, and emergency vehicles. Luckily the people around and above me went to bed around the same time, so I got a good night’s rest. Shower pressure was horrible, like bathing under a sprinkler. Check-in was quick because they prefill the cards, so get there early if you want a top floor room.
