Gulf Tides by Coolvacay

The beach feels wonderfully private, with plenty of space for the kids to wander and no nearby resorts crowding it. Some rooms are right on the beach, while the regular ones are just across the street from the access. We've been coming every year for more than a decade, and the place is clean and the staff are very friendly. Returning at the same time means you start recognizing other guests and it feels like seeing family. It's such a beautiful place to enjoy a vacation you've worked hard for. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather unwind with my family.

I love the location and the staff have always been friendly, but this third visit, in the East building, was disappointing. My family joined me, and we spent one night sweating after the air conditioner quit. The second toilet wouldn't flush, so from 4 p.m. until 9:30 the next morning we all had to use the master bathroom. It was fixed on day 2, then broke again on day 6. The beds are very old and uncomfortable, and the bathroom floors especially are so gross that I clean them myself every time I come. Gulf Tides Management, please bring the rooms up to date, including the beds and furniture. These conditions don't make for a restful vacation, and I'm not sure I can do this again. I hope you fix these problems.

A quiet, safe, convenient place to stay, with a secluded beach and a heated pool. They also have bicycles, umbrellas, beach towels, and tennis and pickleball courts. The staff are helpful and go out of their way, especially Julia and Matthew. Highly recommend!

Being able to unwind and watch the waves from the condo is one of my favorite things. I'm a native Floridian, but I still forget how incredible the view is. And I LOVE having a private beach to enjoy!
