Guest Inn of Longview

This is the most disgusting place I’ve ever rented a room. There are bed bugs and roaches running across the walls, and if you’re on the second floor, the ceiling leaks badly. This place needs to be shut down immediately.

It’s somewhere to sleep, but not somewhere I’d bring children. The rooms are heavily smoked out, and on my last visit I was greeted by a toilet full of urine. The owner seems to care about keeping it affordable and hasn’t raised the rates. Maybe he knows that raising them could leave people who call this place home without a place to stay. Or maybe keeping the rates low brings in the same people doing whatever they do, while the new clientele are police or informants working with them. Either way, that was my last visit.

I watched a mouse fall from the ceiling with my own eyes, and there was also a dead mouse under the bed. They might as well hand out Raid and mouse traps with the room key. I can’t believe the city hasn’t shut this place down. The picture was taken Aug. 3.

There’s too much fighting at night, and it’s kept my kids awake. We’re never coming back once we leave, especially after the housekeeping lady’s rudeness. She said we couldn’t use the vacuum anymore because hair had clogged it, and blamed my dogs. There are other dogs here too. If they’re going to stop me from using it, they should tell the other dog owners as well. My dog isn’t the only one that sheds and could clog the vacuum.
