We had a very pleasant stay in clean, tidy, lovely rooms, and the rates are reasonable. The rooms have kitchens, there's free internet and cable TV, and they offer 24-hour room service. 10/10 overall.

The other guests were a nice surprise. We met some lovely people and enjoyed talking with them. The room wasn't spotless, but it was clean enough. The shower had good pressure and temperature, and the refrigerator and air conditioner worked well. For what I got, I thought the price was fair, especially since I stay in hotels often when I visit here. The front desk man was welcoming, kind, straightforward, and professional. He took care of everything we needed and was gracious about it. Thank you, Town Chalet. We were in town for a family emergency, and you made a difficult couple of days a lot better. ♥️

This has to be the dirtiest motel room I've ever seen. Cockroaches, blood, dirt, and grime were everywhere. The baseboard corners were thick with dirt and gore, and there was piss on the toilet seat and the bottom of the toilet. Someone had wrapped a plastic bag holding water around the shower nozzle. It was absolutely filthy and disgusting, and I felt like things were crawling on me. I couldn't relax or feel safe or sanitary. I hadn't even pulled back the blankets, and I don't think I will. A cockroach actually crawled across my hand. I'll have to shake out my clothes and belongings before leaving, or see if there's a cleaner room available. There was no phone, towels, remote, or any amenities at all. I know this motel isn't even close to a good one, but this is beyond gross. There are laws and codes motels have to follow, and this room clearly hasn't been cleaned in a very long time.

The area has historically been a rough part of Longview, though it seems to be improving lately. A new convenience store has opened across the street, and the circle is just up the road. The street itself is under construction for much needed renovations. Rooms are expensive, but still reasonable.

I paid 470 for a week while I waited for my house to be ready, and the price felt a bit steep. The room was decent, and I liked having a small kitchen. I did find a used syringe in the bathroom mirror, and the shower drain was broken. The cleaning lady was very nice and helpful. The other staff weren't too terrible, though not especially friendly. There are ups and downs here, but for a quick stay and a shower it wouldn't be too bad.
