Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel & Spa

I've stayed here several times over the past few years, and each visit has been great. Sam, the manager, is always accommodating, as is the rest of the staff. The rooms are clean and modern, and it's only a short drive to Rodeo Drive and the Century City Mall.

I left frustrated with a freshly scratched Porsche and no help from the hotel. The valet damaged my car, and the hotel refused to accept responsibility. I noticed the scratch right away, and it was clearly fresh and not caused by me. Staff were uncooperative throughout, telling me it must have happened earlier, which felt dismissive and unrealistic. They wouldn't take a closer look, show me any footage, cover the damage, or offer even a free night or reduced charge as a goodwill gesture. There was no solution or accountability, just a cold “all the best.” For a hotel in this area I expected professionalism and integrity. I can't recommend it.

Sam and Jonathan went the extra mile for us, and the whole team was professional, courteous and helpful. We had a check-in issue caused by our own oversight while booking, but Sam, the manager on duty, resolved it quickly and made the visit stress-free. We interacted with those two most often, and they were exceptional at looking after our needs. My family loved our five nights in the Plaza Luxury Doubles and Junior Suite units. The hotel was meticulously clean, well maintained and elegantly decorated. We also liked the room layout, automatic curtains, double elevators, orchids in the lobby, and the clean, well-lit, secure indoor parking garages. Breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic, and the lobby restaurant was nicely decorated for Christmas. The grounds looked lovely then, too, and the staff around the property were lovely. The hotel has a cool old-school Hollywood look throughout.
