My flight delays got me into LA late, and I called at 10:03, just three minutes late, to ask how to check in. Nobody picked up. Agoda customer care tried calling and emailing the property manager several times, but got no response. After three days of traveling between airports, I ended up spending the night in the airport lobby. The instructions said check-in was after 3pm, but the warning that nobody would respond after 10pm sharp was buried in the booking terms and conditions. It was technically mentioned, but not somewhere I would have found without reading all the information after booking. They also never replied about changing the date or offered a refund. They don't respond after 10pm.

I couldn't get any sleep at all during my one-night stay. Around 5 AM, people were talking, laughing, and moving about loudly, and the cheap bed frame shook and creaked whenever my neighbor turned over. The farting and loud snoring made it even worse. I was already anxious and exhausted, and didn't manage even an hour of sleep. This place is just noisy, inconsiderate chaos, not somewhere to stay if you need rest.

I didn't even go inside. It was late, I couldn't get anyone on the phone because the number on the booking site went straight to voicemail, and there were no arrival or check-in instructions posted. A man outside kindly tried to help me figure things out, but the check-in process was taking too long and involved too much back and forth. I didn't feel welcome, and the area gave me a really bad feeling. I left for a 24H Korean Spa where I'm a regular and paid $70. I'm staying at another hostel now, where I've stayed before. They answer the phone, greet me with a smile, and the customer service is great. It's very quiet, there's no one getting high or playing music, and I can be productive. I'm extending my stay and using my points there. I should've booked that place from the start. The money here can stay with them. I'll tell everyone I know about this place. Ugh.
