Comfort Inn Los Angeles near Hollywood

Getting around was easy, with regular buses to downtown LA, Griffith Observatory, and other places. The location was very convenient, and we enjoyed our two-night stay. The room was nice and clean, and both front desk staff members were friendly and helpful. Nicest hotel.

After a long bus ride, the clean, quiet, comfortable room was just what we needed. The breakfast was really yummy, with great hot food and good options besides that. The staff were super nice and helpful. Great hotel for the price, 5/5. Our only issue was that one drawer wouldn’t stay fully closed.

This is a small, secure Comfort Inn with basement parking, but parking costs extra each night. Breakfast is included, though the dining area is quite compact. The rooms are on the small side, and cameras monitor the alley continuously for added security.

The room itself was spacious and clean, but the hotel didn’t go out of its way to help us. I asked to leave my car in the garage until around 4 or 5 p.m. after the noon checkout and was turned down. Then I asked if the front desk could hold our bags, since I didn’t want our belongings left in the car on the street all afternoon. They said there wasn’t space for storage and refused that too. In my experience, this is very unusual for U.S. hotels, and it felt inhospitable, especially given that the garage had plenty of open spaces between noon and 5 p.m. on Sunday. I understand wanting cars out after checkout, but they could have accommodated a special request or charged less. We paid nearly $500 for a two-night weekend stay.
