New Bay Motel

For LA, this has been a decent middle ground on price. I've stayed several times and tried quite a few rooms. They're reliably clean, though the cigarette smell is hard to escape.

I was happy with my stay and would come back. My non-smoking room had a cigarette smell, maybe because the windows are left open and smoke drifts in, but it wasn't a big deal. The room was small, which didn't bother me since I was only staying there. It was clean, with AC, a good TV and cable, and a shower dispenser for shampoo and body wash. I had an assigned parking spot, the front desk woman was nice, and check-in and checkout were easy. I was there for Cat Con June 6th-7th 2015. :)

Clean and well priced, with a comfy bed and a jacuzzi right in the room. It's small, but cute and cozy. Just know there's no heater, and the bedding is only a sheet and a light comforter. The fridge keeps things cold, and there's a microwave too.

I left feeling really dissatisfied, and I won't return. The room was mediocre, with stains on the walls, and management was unprofessional and ill-mannered. At checkout they went to inspect the room as if I couldn't be trusted, which offended me. I'd used a towel to dry the floor, and they accused me of making it dirty because it had a stain. They also said I'd taken a face towel and wanted to keep $10, telling me to read the contract. I eventually got the $10 back, but the room wasn't worth $70.
