Venice Beach Suites Hotel

The location is hard to beat, directly across from the beach and just steps from the iconic Venice canals. The penthouse (PH) was a relaxed spot to sit and talk while taking in the surroundings, and the oceanfront view was outstanding. We were impressed as soon as we arrived by the lobby’s warm, stylish mix of historic charm and modern design. We could leave our luggage, and our wonderful advisor arranged complimentary early check-in, making arrival easy. There was also a complimentary bottle of wine in the room, a thoughtful welcome. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well appointed, with a refrigerator and coffee. Coffee was available in the lobby too. Everything felt carefully arranged for a comfortable, stylish stay. We’d gladly return and recommend Venice V Hotel to anyone looking for a memorable visit to Venice Beach.

The keycard access made the Venice V hotel feel really safe, and the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. Since we were staying five days, they mentioned at check-in that our room was on the smaller side and offered a penthouse upgrade for a little extra. It was a typical sales tactic, but definitely worth it. We had an amazing time, and I plan to stay here whenever I’m in LA.

Chaplin was here in 1915, which is something! I was offered a room upgrade, and it turned out to be the best offer so far. There’s a coffee and burger place nearby, plus free bikes and beach towels. The location is great. I stayed two nights and wished I could have stayed for weeks.

I booked Venice V at the last minute on a whim, and I’m really glad I did. The location is fantastic, and the staff were even better, so kind and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure my dog and I were comfortable. The room was clean, with beautiful finishes and decor. Sound carried between rooms, though: I could hear the heavy footsteps from above as well as doors and voices in the hallway. It was a minor flaw. I’ll be back and would recommend it to others.
