Breakfast tasted good, and the room was very clean. The only real letdown was the pool, which was cold. We’d changed our plans because of the weather and hoped to enjoy the pool before heading home the next day. Maddie mentioned that heating it caused condensation, so we stayed in for about 15 minutes, got too cold, and went back upstairs for the rest of the evening since the roads were bad. I had no problems with the staff. I also appreciated the night shift coming in early to relieve Maddie when the weather was terrible. I hope she got home safely, and that he did the following morning.

We picked this hotel mainly for its location during a two-night vacation a few weeks ago, but we chose somewhere else on our next visit. The room was okay, and breakfast was limited: three hot options, waffles, oatmeal, just a few kinds of bread, cereal, and yogurt. The bathroom door wasn’t hung right and wouldn’t close properly. There was no hair dryer in the room. We asked the front desk and were told one would be brought up that first night, but it never arrived.

I travel a lot, and Emily and her team gave five-star service at a three-star hotel. They were attentive, I have no complaints, and I’d highly recommend staying here. Thanks again!

I was in town for a volleyball tournament and liked the convenient location, with several restaurants within walking distance. The lobby was beautifully decorated, too. The main problem began on the first night, when my toilet wouldn’t flush. I reported it to the front desk, but there didn’t seem to be much urgency, even though the hotel was nearly full on a Saturday. Later, the staff moved me to a larger room with a king bed. I appreciated the extra space, and the toilet there worked. Breakfast was disappointing. I saw the cook bring eggs out of a microwave bag and pour them into the serving pan. The turkey sausage looked unappealing and tasted bad. There were tissue boxes around the breakfast area instead of napkins. At checkout, the desk staff said they knew they were short on napkins because a shipment hadn’t arrived. They didn’t offer a solution, and I wondered why management hadn’t dealt with it. They could have gone to a grocery store and bought some. At $169 a night through bookings.com, I expected better service and amenities. Based on this stay, I can’t recommend the hotel.
