I chose Marriott for the consistency and professionalism the brand is known for, but this stay fell far short. I can’t recommend this property based on my experience. Management should address both how housekeeping gets done and how guests are kept informed. The building is dated, which I can accept. The lack of basic housekeeping and follow-through is another matter. After my second day, I asked for room service. I wasn’t expecting daily service, but during an extended work stay, vacuuming and fresh towels every couple of days seemed reasonable. More than once, I was told I’d been put on the housekeeping list. I asked each night and got the same assurance, but nothing happened. By day six, I was still asking for towels myself and the room hadn’t been properly serviced. The repeated promises that someone would take care of it, followed by no action, made the lack of service even more frustrating.
