The grounds were well kept, and the front desk woman was very nice. You could tell the staff worked hard. Still, we'll never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it. Our room smelled musty, the floors were filthy, and we put our jackets on the chairs at the table to sit down. The table was so uneven that we used coffee packets to level it. The bathroom was extremely small, even for someone my size, 5 feet 4 inches. We were near what seemed to be the owners' living quarters. A white dog barked nonstop, and the woman kept the sliding door open so it could keep barking at us while we sat in a chair outside our room. It was uncomfortable to sit there while someone stared at us.

The room had cable, the bed was clean, the pool was clean, and breakfast was free. It was cheap, by the lake, and did the job. The main office smelled awful, like sewage, when we checked in. We didn't have a microwave in the room, which was odd, and the bathroom looked like a horror movie, with a water damaged ceiling, leaking faucets, and peeling walls. This isn't a five star luxury hotel.

♡It smelled really clean, the people were nice, and the indoor pool area looked pretty nice 😊 There was mold on the walls and ceiling, though. It was just a place to crash. I'm not a negative person and don't want to dwell on the bad stuff. Just grateful to have somewhere to rest and no bugs ♡

The workers seemed to be doing their best, but I can't recommend the place. The room was damp and musty, and the AC didn't help with the moisture. The bathroom was cramped, the shower was disgusting, and the toilet broke after one use. Most outlets either didn't work or wouldn't hold a plug. They claim every room has a microwave, but ours didn't. The outdoor ice machine had leaves and bugs in it. The so called complimentary breakfast was laughable, not even cream cheese or anything else for the bagels. There were no signs showing pool hours, though it closes at 10 pm. It was one of our worst hotel stays. Spend a little more and go elsewhere.

The kids thought the pool looked like it hadn't been maintained in a long time. The place itself was clean and basic, with no luxuries, but a decent value for what we paid.
