The staff were helpful and accommodating, and they moved me to a better room on the third floor where I didn't see roaches. I gave two stars because that last room was good and the staff were great. They let me view rooms before moving, but I hadn't realized how bad the first one would be. Some rooms have roach infestations, and I had to relocate. Pest control doesn't seem to be working if they need to come so often. The no-smoking rule also doesn't stop people from gathering and smoking after the staff leave at 7 p.m. Someone tried to break into my daughter's Kia and damaged the outside door latch. My own vehicle was outside and had no issues. Since staff aren't there around the clock, they should have good security after hours.

The staff working here do a wonderful job and work incredibly hard. My complaint is about management, and the way my elderly mother was treated. That treatment was abysmal, and I won't overlook it. The manager seems to rely on what I see as made-up stories and dishonest behavior. I rarely saw her leave her seat except for what looked staged, and when she doesn't get the confrontation she seems to want, she creates one. When challenged, she resorts to lies, including to officials and apparently anyone who will listen. The way she treated my mother is disgusting. The team's hard work is being undermined by this bad apple, and I'd tell people to stay away to avoid a major headache and being taken advantage of. I've seen other guest comments about management and the scripted replies that don't take responsibility. I'll wait and see before I share the receipts. I spent 23 years dealing with identity theft, finally got it fixed, and thought I'd met good people. Then I had to deal with whatever game she's running. Consumer explanations are met with consumer perspectives. From that viewpoint, what she called me looks like a projection of her character, based on her actions, not some prepared narrative. If Google reviews allowed video, we could skip the script. People say others don't want to work, but this is the kind of manager they may have to work for. I'm sure the WF mentions and the tom foolery in our final days, when she involved people I never expected to get involved, are part of the plot. At this point, nothing surprises me.
I've been here until the end of the week, putting up with the roaches because I figured the situation was already a done deal. I haven't been sleeping well: they've crawled on my arms and woken me, and they're around the fridge and walls. I've lost count of how many I've killed. They're everywhere in this room, day and night. I leave my shoes on the dresser so I can grab one and smack the bugs against the wall. I don't do well with roaches, and I never thought to ask for another room before. I think I might now. Ugh.
I stayed at the hotel for three months. The maintenance workers were very nice to me, and I hadn't had trouble with anyone else who works here besides the maid and the manager. I was first in room 144, then had to move to room 305 on the third floor because of a plumbing problem. I haven't had another plumbing issue. My uncle was staying there too. I had markers and other things in my hand, and the maid who works downstairs and upstairs sometimes went and lied to the manager about me. Nobody came to talk with me about it. That same day she told me, "we don't do that around here." When I asked what she meant, she walked away. I didn't have what she said I had, and I don't appreciate her lying about me and bad-mouthing me. I caught the flu and a head cold at the same time and rested to feel better. My room wasn't very clean when they came in, although I normally keep it clean. They say this is a drug-free place, but I think that's a laugh because the maid does a lot of that stuff. If I owned this place, I'd fire both her and the manager. When March 5 comes, I'll be gone.
I'm asking the regional manager over this hotel to contact me directly. We've had repeated unprofessional conduct and false accusations from staff, and the experience has been distressing. The first issue was on December 4, 2025. My little brother said a male housekeeper made him uncomfortable by telling him to unlatch the door so he could clean. I brought it up again today with the manager who had been on PTO. She said guests have to let staff in regardless of the circumstances, even with a minor there, which I felt was unsafe. I was told a manager from the Atlanta district dealt with the December 4 issue on December 9, 2025. Today we woke to flooding in our room. We first thought it was the sink, but the water came from the toilet. I turned off its valve, used towels and sheets to contain the water, drained them in the shower, and mopped. About an hour later, a housekeeper came alone and asked to enter. I let her in, explained what happened, and said I was waiting for the office to open at 11 a.m. so I could report it. She said she'd tell them and call maintenance. Instead, an employee involved in the earlier issue came back and accused us of causing the problem by moving pipes or putting something in the toilet. That's not true. Because of what happened before, I recorded these interactions. Management later again said we caused the flooding, asked why we hadn't called an emergency number we'd never been given, and said the room below us had to be moved. Maintenance later said this kind of problem had happened before. Staff raised their voices outside our door, gave conflicting accounts of access to the room, and threatened to remove me for defending myself. I was also accused in front of children of leaving a baby alone, then that claim was changed. After the repeated accusations and confrontations, I filed a police report. The manager who'd just returned from PTO also put her foot in the door and refused to move it when I asked. I didn't want to argue anymore. She threatened to throw us out, and when I asked again for her to move her foot, she refused and said she didn't have to. It's on recording. I had forgotten that part amid everything going on. Here are pictures of the pipes they claimed I pulled apart. We didn't do that. Two staff members touched the pipes when they came into the room, and besides them, no one has touched them.
