Old Stagecoach Inn

We were only a 15 minute drive from downtown Stowe, and passed the Vermont Flannel shop and Cabot on the way. The location worked out well because we avoided skier traffic. We had a great Babymoon at the Inn, tucked along a downtown strip with good food and drink options, including takeout pizza for our later-than-planned arrival. Snowstorms bookended our trip, including the “Blizzard of '26,” and we had to leave a night early. Christa was so accommodating, and we’re very grateful. We hope to come back with our baby girl.

The location can’t be beat, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we liked the charming common room with its inviting fireplace. After a long day, the bar area was a nice spot to get a drink. My group had a great stay here.

Waking up to coffee and breakfast was a big plus on my one-night ski trip in Vermont. The location was convenient, quaint, and charming, and our room was beautiful and spacious. I definitely want to visit the Inn again.

Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and I felt at home relaxing or chatting with other guests in the common spaces. We’d never tried a bed and breakfast before and wondered what took us so long. Christa was such a friendly, welcoming host. The historic Inn has plenty of charm along with all the comforts, plus tea, coffee, and cookies available around the clock. There’s a perfect little pub inside with a good selection of beer, wine, and craft cocktails. It’s a great base for skiing, 15 minutes to Bolton Valley and also close to Stowe and Sugarbush. A full breakfast before the slopes was just right. Thanks to Christa and the team, we’ll be back!
