West Hill House B&B

The owners are so friendly that the Inn really feels like home while you're a guest. I stayed here while skiing at Sugarbush mountain, less than a mile away. The room was clean and super comfortable, and the accommodations and breakfasts were great. The skiing was awesome, too: good snow, and I never waited more than a minute in the chairlift line. It's a wonderful place to stay in Vermont.

We enjoyed relaxing in the shared spaces and chatting with the other guests, and Peter and Susan's local suggestions were much appreciated. Before we arrived, they answered our questions promptly and sent all the information we needed. They clearly know the hospitality and B&B business well. We had a fantastic, classic Bed&Breakfast stay and hope to return.

The homemade breakfast was delicious and set us up well for a day on the nearby Sugarbush slopes. We also liked meeting the other guests, and dinner options are an easy drive away. The innkeepers, Eric and Theresa, were so warm and generous that we felt at home right away. Our large room, "The Garden Room," was easy to access, very clean, and had all the comforts we needed; its private bathroom was clean as well. We could use the spacious, comfortable common rooms, and there were plenty of afternoon snacks. We'll gladly tell family and friends about this B & B gem and hope to be back next ski season.

We stayed in the "Paris" suite for three days in February 2026. It had its own entrance and parking spot, a big comfortable four-poster bed, two fireplaces, and a Jacuzzi. The inn itself is a charming old Vermont farmhouse, but it also has WiFi, a pool table, games, books, DVDs, coffee and tea with warmed mugs, private jacuzzis, and more fireplaces than I could count. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Teresa and Eric, the new owners, were attentive without hovering, and staying there felt like visiting friends. They served generous, delicious breakfasts. The inn is only a mile from Sugarbush, where the downhill skiing was excellent. We'd planned to try Nordic skiing, but the fireplace won us over, so we spent our third morning relaxing and chatting instead. Five stars from me. I hope to return, maybe in summer when I've heard the gardens are spectacular.
