The breakfast and fresh coffee in the lobby were a nice bonus, and the place feels very family-friendly, which matters to our little family. We've stayed here in Madison, IN, and both housekeeping and the management and staff have been courteous and friendly. Our room has always been clean, with no musty smell when we enter the lobby. I saw a review mentioning bed bugs, but that hasn't been our experience at all. We'd recommend staying here and would happily come back. 10/10. Thanks to the staff for being so great!

The staff were very nice, and we saw several guests with dogs, so we assume that's part of the hotel's appeal. But the building feels very dated, and the rooms are yellowed from years of smoking and smell of smoke. We could easily hear conversations from neighbors, even a couple of rooms away, which makes us think the insulation is poor. The Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn both have proper hot breakfasts, too. If you can swing another $10-$20, we'd stay at one of those instead.

We've stayed here for years and I'd recommend it. The staff live at the hotel, so help arrives quickly when you need it. Rooms are a decent size and clean, though the beds could stand an update. Still a good value for the location.

A grocery store and small shopping center are right across the street, which makes the location handy. I travel a lot and often arrive in the morning, and they kindly got me into my room early. The modern, clean room had a chair and desk, so I didn't have to sit on the bed all the time, and housekeeping refreshed it daily. Breakfast was very good, with a Jimmy Dean egg and sausage biscuit, apples, yogurt, a waffle and coffee. I may have missed something. The gentleman at the front desk was professional and friendly, a rare thing these days. I'd recommend staying here and will return when I'm in the area.

For $130 a night, even with points bringing the rate down, I wouldn't come back. We were there for the weekend of a boat event, and this feels like a $75-a-night place at most. My room, 107, was meant to have two queen beds but had one double instead, and it reeked of stale smoke. Breakfast had sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwiches, waffles to toast, yogurt, granola bars and honey buns.
