The second time, our door wouldn’t shut unless we pushed on it, and the second room had a cracked sink that leaked onto the shelf and floor whenever we ran water. We have pictures showing how we left the rooms. I used to be a housekeeper, so I know what they deal with. We stripped the beds, cleaned the floor, and did everything, then left housekeeping a nice tip. Still, the guy told us they wouldn’t extend our stay if we needed it because we left the room trashed. The woman also hounded us about a pet fee that was PAID IN FULL. NEVER AGAIN. Train the staff to treat paying customers better. We stayed twice only because my daughter had to be admitted to childrens hospital very sick the first time, then had gallbladder surgery the second. Two staff members treated us terribly, the woman and one of the men, not the one who checked us in. On the first visit, housekeeping and the woman came up and basically pushed us out before 11. Housekeeping had a kid laying IN THEIR CART ON CLEAN LINEN. The “owners” or whoever live there let their child run around playing with coffee stir sticks, then put them back. Do better. I could have lost my child if we hadn’t been in madison. With all the stress, we needed somewhere to rest our heads. This place was very crappy, with very crappy “management” or “employees.”

It was value for money, but they could do better. The evening receptionist wasn’t very friendly. Thanks to the night manager for moving us to a different room because the exhaust wasn’t working and the bathroom smelled really bad.

Getting here takes a few turns, though the location itself isn't terrible. The room was clean enough, but the heater and AC couldn't be adjusted from inside, and that unit was the loudest we've ever heard. We could also hear a dog barking all night. We try to leave positive reviews, but this time “cleanish” is about all I can say. Wouldn't be my first pick to return to.

We waited about 20 minutes to check in while the man kept repeating questions he'd already asked. The room was small and dirty, with stained, ripped chair upholstery and a grimy carpet. There was dried snot in a drawer beside the bed, chunks missing from the dresser, and damage along the bottom of the broken door. The soap dispenser was empty. Way overpriced and disgusting. Don't waste your time or money.
