The Farmhouse Inn

Walter cooked us a delicious breakfast, and he and Grant were both incredibly welcoming. The place had so many thoughtful touches: snacks and a sound machine in the room, a bonfire ready to go, and seating spots all around the property. We stayed Monday night and had an amazing time. The hospitality was beyond anywhere I've experienced. I've only written an unprompted review three times, and I'm delighted to leave this one.

The breakfasts were homemade, fresh, and so good that each morning felt like an event. The genuine hospitality made them one of the things I miss most already. At The Farmhouse Inn, the quiet and comfort come from thoughtful details rather than flash. It felt cozy without being cramped and peaceful without feeling cut off. We left feeling rested and closer as a family, already talking about coming back. The surroundings are beautiful, with rolling green hills, lovely views, and birds and wildlife all around. I kept stopping in the mornings to listen to the calls in the trees. We wandered the property, visited the honeybees, spent time by the fishing ponds, and sat on the porch watching the light shift on the water. It was one of the most relaxing family vacations I've had, a real chance to let the rest of the world fade away. Driving up the hills and seeing the landscape open out made me think this would be a special getaway, and it surpassed my expectations. The Farmhouse Inn feels peaceful, welcoming, and restorative all at once. If you need to slow down and take in some beauty, I highly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed overnight after a Jeep event, since we still had a three-hour drive home. The service was excellent, and breakfast was excellent too. We had dinner at the chop house on the evening we checked in, based on their recommendation, and that was great as well. A lovely little place. We'll definitely be back.

The Farmhouse Inn was a 10/10 for us. We stayed two nights in the immaculate, lovely cottage, which smelled amazing and was in a great spot. The beds and sheets were very comfortable, and the bathroom products were nice. The walls are a little thin, but each bedroom has a sound machine, which took care of that possible issue. Breakfast was delicious, and they brought it right to the cottage. The owners are kind and involved, and the employees and animals were lovely too. Our two-year-old was obsessed with the rope swing. The animals enjoyed the carrots and apples we brought, and the trails and ponds were well kept. Nothing bad to say. We're already planning another visit!
