The Homestead

We left relaxed and wishing we could have stayed another night. The room was modern and comfortable, with heated toilet seats, a bidet, and a spa-like shower head. Since it rained, we didn't try the outdoor options like fire pits, disc golf, or cornhole. Inside, we sat by the fireplace, listened to records, spent time with Heartman, and chatted over delicious breakfast and coffee with Ray and Ralph. There are fun, creative touches everywhere, so it never felt dull. The house is very clean, cozy, and comfortable, tucked away from the road in a peaceful, private spot. It was a mother-daughter getaway, and the stay exceeded expectations. I haven't been to a B&B in ages, and now I want to do it again. I'd love to come back.

I visited for three days with my wife and mother, and the staff made each of us feel special. My mom is vegan, and the Homestead crew made sure she had plenty of breakfast choices. They did the same for anyone who is gluten-free. This B&B in beautiful Madison, Connecticut, has excellent rooms, service, and location. The pop-culture decor and record players in every room, along with a great LP library, show how much care goes into the stay. Five stars all around, highly recommended.

The Homestead in Madison CT had a relaxed New England feel, and we're already looking forward to another visit. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and knew the area well. They pointed us to delicious restaurants and a great trail for biking along the beach. Our spacious rooms were well equipped, and two things especially stood out: the bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower felt like a spa. A lovely stay that exceeded our expectations.
