The room was spacious, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Check-in was smooth, and the friendly, professional front desk employee even called to make sure I was happy with the room. It was clean, and for a couple of days in town I was mainly looking for a low price, so it worked for me. A few things need attention. The online information on Google and Booking is out of date: there’s no pool and breakfast isn’t served anymore. The towels and washcloths are very worn and dingy. When I tried to heat water for tea, the microwave started sparking. Brandon, the friendly night manager, tried to arrange a replacement, but maintenance came to inspect it, saw it sparking after I explained that the rust and chipped finish were already there, unplugged it, and never brought another one. There’s a two burner stovetop, though you have to pay to use pots and pans. The property looks fairly well kept, and I liked sitting by the two ponds to feed the ducks and relax. 7 Eleven, Wendy's, local restaurants, Walgreens, and other shops are close by. Extended stays like this have become affordable housing for working families who can’t manage the outrageous rent elsewhere. For a quick getaway or somewhere to stay out of necessity, I’d come back for the price and convenience.

We stayed here for a little over 300 days while my family and I were trying to find a place to live, and spent a little over $30,000. After paying for 299 days, I couldn’t cover one day, even though I wrote a good faith letter offering to pay any missed days that week. A week later they asked us to leave, accused us of destroying the room, and put us on the DNR list. The room wasn’t move ready, but it was absolutely not destroyed. What felt especially wrong was learning they had contacted the sheriff’s department and barred us from using another extended stay, then acting friendly to my face without telling me. The location I’m at now won’t let me continue my reservation because of that DNR, so we have to pack up again in a few days. We also had to give up our dog and go to another location out of the county. After all that money and time with this company, this is how it ends. Hector has no morals, and it felt like the enemy used him. This isn’t the end for us, though. We will be restored in Jesus’ name. People say actions show what’s in someone’s heart, and his attitude toward us was raggedy. Do your worst, but no weapon formed against me, my family, or our finances shall prosper.

Hector made our week at the hotel especially comfortable. He was helpful with suggestions for places to visit, and his steady smiles and welcoming manner made it clear he enjoys his job. We’d definitely stay again.

We left after about an hour, once we found somewhere else to stay. There were hairs in the sheets, no soap, and tobacco crumbs on the kitchenette. My son and I were coughing, possibly because of mold from the AC, and we didn’t feel we could stay any longer for our health. Getting checked in was unpleasant too. The entrance was filthy, with dirty walls and doors, and we had to use a phone box and dial 500 to reach someone. I waited several minutes with all our bags while they got someone from the hotel to meet us. It didn’t feel safe. The lobby smelled strongly of weed, the halls smelled of smoke, and the walls, elevator, and doors were all dirty. The room was missing the couch it was supposed to have. I booked through Hopper, and the ratings clearly weren’t up to date.

Very quiet for the three nights I stayed, and the price was fair for a spot in central Orlando. After my 10 hour drive I got there early, but Barbara and Hector were really friendly and got me checked in quickly ahead of time.
