Econo Lodge

The location worked well for the wedding I was attending in Vermont, and the employees were very nice. It’s pet friendly, and breakfast was okay, especially if you like waffles. But there was no bottled water or plain drinking water, and the beds were uncomfortable. The shower was a puzzle to operate, the floors felt slippery, and I wasn’t sure what they’d been cleaned with. The place is very outdated and no-frills, and you have to ask if you need anything. For the price, it may suit someone who doesn’t mind an older property. I personally wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and check-in was easy. For the price, the service and value were a pleasant surprise. My room had all the basics, and it was cleaner and more comfortable than I expected. I slept well and would stay here again.

The mattresses were better than average, but I’d never stay here again. The bathtub drain was about 90% clogged, and the shower never got hotter than lukewarm, even after running it for over 20 minutes on arrival night and again the next morning. Management had the AC locked so it couldn’t be set below 69 degrees, which I’d never seen before. With those problems, I thought the room should have been $90, but it cost $200.

The rooms are nice and clean, and the staff are respectful. The owners are kind and respectful too, and it’s clear they care about the people staying there. That made the place feel like home and made me want to come back. It’s awesome to see good people still exist. I definitely recommend econo lodge and will definitely be back.
