Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mansfield

We had a good stay and would come back, though housekeeping only kept the common areas clean. They never changed our sheets, and after three days brought fresh towels and emptied just one of our three trash cans. The staff were friendly and check-in and checkout went smoothly. The location worked really well for us, between Corning, Wellsboro, and Mansfield, with Sheetz nearby for gas and quick conveniences and Walmart and Dollar Tree for supplies during a longer stay. We were there about a week over Christmas. The room was comfortable and clean, and we appreciated the accessibility options. They provided a large, comfortable shower chair when asked, along with extra pillows and blankets. Breakfast was free with plenty to choose from, including fruit, premade sandwiches, waffles, cereal, and juice. The coffee at breakfast was the worst I've ever had, but the coffee from the in-room maker was perfectly fine. The pool was a comfortable temperature, in a heated room with lots of towels. The place was mostly empty until our last day. The walls are very thin, and the room above us sounded like a stampede of children all night. We could also hear doors opening and slamming all along the hall, something to keep in mind in busier seasons.

Rachel made the whole three-day stay feel like home, from booking through checkout. She was kind and helpful, gave us directions to all our destinations in Mansfield, suggested good sit-down restaurants and places to get pizza and other food delivered, and made sure I got my veterans discount. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and affordable. The well-lit lot had plenty of handicap parking. I'll definitely stay here again. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good too, just enough for a nice meal before heading out for the day. We had a great experience.

The complimentary breakfast was a real plus, with lots of good choices, and I'd recommend this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk answered our questions and suggested places to grab something quick to eat. We stayed one night as a family and had two small hassles: there weren't many outlets, so we had to take turns charging all our phones using the same two, and the toilet only flushed all the way if you held the handle down. Neither was a deal breaker, but both matter.
