Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Atlanta Kennesaw

I'm here for the fifth time, and the stays have been consistently great. Today's was no different. Marcus and the rest of the front desk people had the warm, welcoming attitude you'd hope for. I don't usually say that, but this time really stood out. Two things could be better: the price on Google maps should be accurate, since my stay cost $40 more than advertised. Also, the cleaning staff started vacuuming by doors with do not disturb signs a little too early, and it woke me an hour early today. Still, the staff are polite and friendly, and I'd recommend this place to anyone around Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, or Atlanta.

Everything about Kennesaw was amazing except this hotel and its staff. We came to look at housing because my son and his wife are moving to Kennesaw for work in 2 short weeks. When we arrived with our two dogs, the maintenance man rudely told us the dogs were NOT welcome because they had new rooms and no longer allowed dogs. Nothing about that was stated when we booked. We quickly found out the Hampton next door was happy to take all of us. After 3 days in Kennesaw, I can say it's an extremely kind town. This hotel was the ONLY bad experience. We'll stay at the Hampton next door on future visits.

It's a nice older hotel, nothing new, but not horrible. The room was clean, it was affordable, and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was good too. My daughter had a bagel, and I had fruit and hard boiled eggs. The people keeping breakfast stocked were wonderful, and both front desk clerks were nice, especially the night clerk. Thank you. It's not Holiday Inn, but it costs less, and the savings made it worth it. I stayed one night.

The lock was so faulty that I had to shoulder the door to get into our room when we first arrived. After dinner, it wouldn’t open at all, and we waited half an hour for someone to let us in. The A/C barely worked in the public areas, and we heard several guests discussing moves to other rooms because their A/C was bad.
