Marion Gray Plaza Motel

I was in the area for the eclipse when I witnessed a horrific accident. I was first at one of the two vehicles, then went to the other and found an infant, the mother, and a critically injured driver. I directed emergency vehicles to the critically injured person, stayed with the young woman, and even went with her to the hospital. After she was released, I drove her around to deal with the accident and find a hotel. I explained the situation to the people at the front desk. They seemed sympathetic, but I now think they only cared about the money. I paid what they asked. The next morning, I left my things in the room while the young woman and I went to the tow lot, sheriff office, rental car place, and other places. We returned 40 minutes after checkout, and they'd thrown all my belongings out, saying they'd re-rented the room. They hadn't finished it, and they were working on many other rooms. The eclipse was over and customers were leaving, not arriving for rooms. I wanted to book another night. They could have called to ask what I planned to do, but instead they entered, removed my things carelessly, and left them unsecured. They knew what was happening and still showed no concern for their customers. Use this business at your own risk. I'd stay away.

The rooms were clean, and I slept really well without hearing a bunch of loud people. From the parking lot, I expected the inside to be worse than it was. The price felt a little high, but I'd stay again if I needed to.

The room looked nice and had been cleaned, but when we asked to pay for another two weeks, we were told we couldn't because we hadn't used housekeeping. They were extremely rude and hateful, and will walk right into your room without knocking. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

It's an older place, and the old office chairs sitting in front of many rooms look junky. My room, though, was clean and had some updates, plus a microwave and fridge. It took a little while for the water to get hot, but once it did, it was hot. The bath towel was thicker than I expected.
