River Rock Inn

The place was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. We stayed for a weekend Yosemite trip, and I'd happily come back. It's right in downtown Mariposa, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and bars.

The bed was clean and comfortable, the only real plus for us. There was no personal welcome, just a board telling us our room number; the air conditioning in the room was welcome on such a hot day. The room itself was small and dusty, with cobwebs on the wall. The shower curtain didn't reach the floor, so water flooded the bathroom and went into the bedroom. The sink had no hot water, and the WiFi was terrible. There was nowhere to put our suitcases, and only one bedside light and table. The deli wasn't open on Sunday, so I can't comment on it. After a month of traveling through multiple places, this was our most disappointing stay, especially for what they charge.

We could barely sleep after a long day at Yosemite because the room smelled musty and stale, and the toilet kept running all night after its flush broke. It was repaired the next morning. We asked to change rooms and were told to check in the afternoon, then called multiple times without getting any response.

The apartments were dirty and dusty, with bugs in the room and spider webs in the bathroom. I arrived during check-in hours, but nobody was available to hear my complaints. I also got no reply when I contacted the host at the provided email address.
