Having a Trader Joe’s next door was handy for milk and yogurt for our little one. Whole Foods, restaurants, and fast food were also within walking distance. The room was clean, but the bathroom needed attention. There was mold along the tub edges. The shower pressure was so strong that I’d like to think the marks on the wallpaper were just water stains. The mattress already felt worn. The pool was pleasantly warm for this time of year, but it needed cleaning too. From what we experienced, they didn’t clean daily, or maybe you have to request it. That wasn’t a big deal to us. What really spoiled the stay was checkout morning. At 08:48 am, someone knocked and told us it was checkout time. Then, at 10:00am, the cleaning lady didn’t knock, just opened the door. She shut it as soon as she saw me and my kid, without apologizing. I don’t know if the hotel was fully booked that night, but it was disrespectful. They need customer service training and should treat guests better.

The staff were wonderful, so kind and helpful. Every person took a moment to smile or chat with my family and me. The room was clean and well kept, and the bed was fine for a night. The bathroom was smaller than I’d like, with little counter space, which is annoying when you’re getting ready, but not a dealbreaker. A few things would’ve been good to know when booking. Expedia showed a $15 overnight parking fee, but it was actually $29. Maybe that was Expedia’s mistake, I’m not sure, but it seems excessive, especially for guests staying several nights. Only one very small elevator was working. The WiFi didn’t work for me at all, which was frustrating because I needed to work. Still, it was fine for one night. The location was great, it was quiet, the pool was heated, and the gym had good equipment. I’d stay again.

We were in town for a wedding and stayed a couple of nights. The staff were friendly, and we had no issues with the room. Basic shops and places to eat are within walking distance. If we’re back in this part of LA for an event, we’d stay here again.

A clean, safe hotel with everything you’d want. The staff really made the stay stand out. Sandra at the front desk deserves special mention for being so helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The front desk staff were helpful. They booked me into a room with free breakfast and fixed a system error that said breakfast wasn’t included. They also got the TV working when it wouldn’t turn on. The Starbucks Bistro woman was nice and brought our food over to the table. Mornings get crowded, so please be patient with the staff. 10/10, I’d come back.
