The room itself had issues: no phones, messy-looking grout in the tub, wires stretched around to make the TV work, and vending machines that didn’t work. Breakfast was dry cereal, bread, and sadness. The place did seem very clean, though, and it has potential. The reason I gave it a good review was the guy at the desk, whose name I’m sorry I forgot. He was naturally welcoming, kind, friendly, and genuinely liked interacting with guests. He patiently dealt with all my needy tourist questions and made the experience. Without him, this would’ve been a 1. Keep the night guy. He rocks and deserves a raise or promotion. He cares.

The room was a little dated, though clean, and the staff were very friendly. We stayed two nights and had a beautiful view of the lake across the road.

Great views and good for pets, but the room absolutely reeked of cigarettes. If you want to smoke darts in your room, then have toast and coffee, it’d be a perfect stop. The room itself wasn’t great.

The staff were upbeat and very helpful, and our Puppers loved staying here. My one suggestion is to mount the TV on the wall at the foot of the bed instead of beside it. Watching from the current spot is really uncomfortable.

We had vehicle trouble and needed to keep the room a little longer. The staff were great and happily gave us the extra time.
