Comfort Suites Marshall

Good value, especially for a short visit. The rooms are spacious and nice, and they seem new. Breakfast was generous, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. There’s also a nice outdoor pool that works well for families.

The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. Even the stairwells had decorations, which was a nice touch. This place is well above average for its class. Nice job, keep it up!

Breakfast had some good choices, and the bed was comfortable with fluffy pillows. Check-in was easy, and the hotel was very clean and comfortable, though both the rooms and the building look a little dated. It’s close to the highway, but there aren’t many places to eat nearby. Most restaurants were about 10 minutes away. The only thing I didn’t like was the soap. They use refillable shampoo and conditioner but still give you an old-fashioned bar of soap. If they’ve upgraded the shampoo and conditioner, it would make sense to do the same for hand and body soap. That was my only complaint; everything else was great. It’s East Texas, so I hadn’t expected much going in.

After a long, stressful drive through an ice storm in Louisiana, this place was a lifesaver. Everywhere else was full, but they were open and welcomed us. The room was clean, just what we needed after that drive. I’m very grateful and would absolutely stay again.
