The front desk, cleaning crews, and maintenance staff have been amazing, but the manager left a lot to be desired. I finally checked out last week after dealing with ongoing problems for over 6 to 7 weeks. There was no hot water for days at a time. A pipe issue in January made the room water dirty, and I had to clean the shower heads daily just to get a clean cold shower. I ended up buying water to shave and brush my teeth because the water was disgusting. Moving me to another room was offered, but they all had the same problems. At least two hot water heaters and the main water valve were replaced, and plumbers came out multiple times, but the issue was never fixed. It was still happening when I left. I understand things go wrong, since I also run a large-scale business, but resolving them matters. These issues needed professional plumbers, not a small maintenance team. Chris from maintenance was being called in nonstop because of complaints, even though this was a plumber's job. I saw the front desk staff overwhelmed by angry guests on several occasions while the manager left them to deal with it. I usually get an email when a hotel has an ongoing issue, but never received any explanation here. I tried to talk to the manager, but she didn't return my calls. I eventually refused to leave until she spoke with me. Fire sprinkler pipes burst in the middle of the night twice within a few weeks, and the hotel had to be cleared both times. There was no communication about that either.
