Our room was well stocked, with a cozy little fireplace in the corner and a view of the garden. The owner was so sweet, and we had a wonderful conversation in the lobby. This is such a cute, unusual place for Mason, and the whole facility is really clean and well maintained. We'll definitely stay here again in the summer.

We stayed overnight with two other couples and really enjoyed this delightful, charming inn. David and his mother made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was outstanding, and the house where we ate was full of history that David shared with us. We'd recommend it, especially if you want a place with a feel beyond the usual motel.

We've come back many times and have never been disappointed. The location is a little off the main drag, but it's close to the main roads and interstates, so getting around is easy. Check-in is simple, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

If you're on the road northeast of Cincinnati, the Kirkwood Inn is a lovely old-school place and one of the area's best-kept lodging secrets. It isn't a chain or franchise, and the doors open to the outdoors instead of hallways. The exterior was beautiful when I visited in October. It's quiet and away from the Interstate, and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding.

A quiet little spot with nice, clean-smelling rooms and a hot shower. Breakfast in the morning had plenty of delicious options. 10/10, would stay again.
