Fairfield By Marriott Inn & Suites Toledo Maumee

The only good part was the gentleman who checked us in. He was polite, professional, and efficient. Room 209 was a real embarrassment to the Marriott brand. When I walked in on 2/21/26, the floor had an approximately 5 degree slope. The bathroom door wouldn't latch, and the tub wouldn't drain. A visible stain where the water had pooled suggested that had been happening for a while. Luckily, I was only there one night and checked out very early.

Breakfast was organized, with a decent range of hot and cold items and plenty of seating. The staff kept the area clean and stocked, even when it was busy. Parking was easy to find and well lit, which was handy arriving late. My room was clean and smelled fresh. The bed was comfortable, the lighting was good, the AC worked, and I didn't hear noise from the hallway. The bathroom was in great shape, with clean surfaces and good water pressure. Wi-Fi stayed connected, and the desk worked well enough for emails or planning the next day's route. Check-in was quick and professional, even though I arrived later in the day. This Fairfield was reliably good from the moment I arrived. Friendly service and clean facilities made for a comfortable stay, and I'd stay here again.

It's a nice little hotel in a convenient spot, with lots of places to eat nearby and downtown Toledo just a short drive away. They're renovating and say so upfront on the website. I can't wait to return once the work is finished.

The room met my standards. It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the mini fridge. The hotel staff were very nice.
