La Copa Inn McAllen

Nathan and Janeth at the front desk helped make our vacation feel perfect, from choosing the room to making sure we got back what we’d forgotten in our previous room. They were honest throughout. The place was a 10/10 for cleanliness and accommodations.

My husband and I first stayed at another Padre Island facility in 2021, right after the freeze and snow. This year we chose LaCopa Inn. Everyone was nice and professional, and Nathan at the front desk was especially accommodating. Nights one and two were rough because of the people above us. Nathan tried speaking with them, but they need professional help. He moved us into a room next to our other room, and after that all was well. He always made a point of smiling and acknowledging us. We’ll be back. Nathan is a very valued employee, and I hope his employers know it!

The rooms at La Copa were spotless, and the beds were really comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The staff made our family mini vacation feel special, especially manager Janeth Quintero, who welcomed us and stayed available throughout our visit. Everything was outstanding, and we’ll definitely stay at La Copa Inn again soon.

I asked by phone whether my room would be upstairs or downstairs, and the front desk woman was rude. When I arrived, she handed me a key, so I asked again if the room was downstairs. She said it was too bad if I hadn’t requested that online. She claimed the hotel was fully booked, even though there were no cars in the lot. Terrible service. I won’t stay there again.
