I checked out early and asked the host whether I’d get a refund for the night I wasn’t staying. She said no, but couldn’t explain why, then said the policy was on the paper I got at check-in. I’d misplaced it, so I asked for another copy. After reading it, I pointed out that it didn’t say I wouldn’t get my money back if I left early. Later, I returned to the desk because the room charge was higher than the price on my reservation. She explained the rate, which I understood, but said they hadn’t charged me extra. I showed her my bank transaction, and she started adding up the charges and said something didn’t look right. Her phone rang, and I assumed it was a manager. While explaining the situation, she seemed to say I was pissing her off. When I asked if I’d heard that right, she denied it, but got off the call with an attitude. She then said she didn’t have to talk to me. I told her it felt like I’d been scammed because none of what she’d said made sense. I called her “girl,” and she got angry, saying she was a grown woman. I explained I wasn’t calling her a little girl, just saying “girl.” Then she answered her phone, and the person on the other end told her to call the police. She did, even though I hadn’t done anything. The officers came and said they didn’t see that I’d done anything wrong. They also said she couldn’t stop me from recording her, and I recorded the interaction. I was upset that the police were called when she was the one who seemed irate. I wouldn’t recommend this motel because I felt they’d taken my money and the service was rude. I saw the response you left. I didn’t escalate anything, her employee did. She was angry because I used the word “girl,” and even the police said they didn’t know why she’d called. I didn’t think the law needed to be involved. You’re a joke. I posted the video on my platform, and I haven’t found anyone who agrees with her actions. See you in court!

I stayed at Woodspring's Suite Atlanta McDonough for a little over 40 days in September 2025. Mr. Sanjaye and the rest of the staff were pleasant and helpful, and my room was clean with a really comfortable bed. Having laundry on site and dollies to help unload the car was convenient. The sheriff's office is around the corner, there’s security on site, and you need an activated badge to get past the reception area toward the rooms. McDonough, GA also felt like a nice, safe area. The main thing to keep in mind is that neighbors can sometimes be loud. Aside from that, I had a great stay.

The traffic around the location was heavy, so we stayed nearby for food, though there wasn’t much choice close by. Check-in was quick, and our room was clean with a comfortable bed. I didn’t like having to pay extra if more than one person used the Internet.

The staff are amazing and always ready to help. This is the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and it smells fresh from the entrance all the way to the elevators. I recommend it.
