We arrived around 1:00 AM hoping to sleep before continuing our trip the next morning, but got woken around 6:00 AM by water coming in through a significant leak in the ceiling near the window. It had been raining outside, the floor was soaked, and the noise woke my whole family. We called the front desk for help and nobody answered. When we later spoke to staff and explained what happened, they barely acknowledged the inconvenience and offered no room change, assistance, or partial refund. I just wanted a safe, clean place to sleep for the night, but a maintenance problem ruined our rest. The booking process had already felt strange. The website said the front office was open until 10 PM, so I called when I realized we’d arrive closer to midnight. A staff member assured me she could check us in at any time. During that call and again when we arrived, though, I was reminded at least four times that checkout was strictly at 11 AM. I understand the policy, but the repeated emphasis felt excessive. The room itself also seemed neglected, far from modern or comfortable, as if it hadn’t been updated in decades. I’m very disappointed and won’t return or recommend the hotel.

The hallways smell awful, and the bathroom smelled even worse than the room. I suspect guests nearby are smoking cigarettes and weed, since the odor is coming through the vents into my room. The beds are cheap and uncomfortable. You have to pay for kitchen supplies and linens, so you’re paying to wash your towels or get more. Not kid-friendly, and I’ll never stay here again.

A convenient place to stay near Anna, TX, but the hallway smelled awful, so be prepared if you have a weak stomach. I can only guess it’s from other guests cooking, since our room had a stovetop. There also wasn’t a lobby.

I booked online through booking.com and drove five hours through traffic from Houston, only to be told when I arrived that the previous guest had extended their stay in the room I’d reserved. Nobody had notified me.
