Rodeway Inn Medford South I-5

The Rodeway was an unexpectedly nice place, and we'd definitely stay again. My husband and I picked it for one night because of its high AAA rating, and the rating was right: our room was extremely clean and well maintained. It felt safe, was easy to reach from I-5, and we could park right outside the door. Breakfast ran from 7 to 9, with lots of options laid out well. The shower had perfect pressure and easy temperature control. The fridge was larger than most hotel room fridges, and there was a little microwave too. The air conditioner was loud, though it didn't bother me since I don't mind white noise.

My mom and I stayed here in May. It sits right in the middle of Medford, and the area seemed a little sketchy, but we felt safe at the motel. The room was clean, though our sink was clogged and unusable while we were there. When the drink vending machine wouldn't vend our waters, the front desk staff gave us complimentary bottles for the inconvenience. I'd stay here again!

There are seasonal flowers blooming all around this inviting motel, and the enclosed courtyard style parking made it feel safe. The place was clean, our room had been updated, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly, and a gentleman was power washing the exterior when we checked in. You can tell there's pride of ownership. We liked having an assigned carport space right outside the room. Breakfast was adequate and the breakfast room clean. Winco grocery store is a short walk or drive away, with lots of nearby places to eat. It's easy to find from I-5, and it had a real throwback feel.

I really like being able to park right in front of my room, with no stairs or long hallways. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the linen nice, and the air conditioning worked great. There was a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and blow dryer, plus plenty of shampoo and conditioner and little bars of soap. Breakfast is available in the morning, and there's a coin-operated washer and dryer and a free ice machine. I didn't care for the tub and shower because I have trouble getting in and out. Very nice and clean for the price.
