Extended Stay America Premier Suites Melbourne I95

The room didn’t feel like anyone had checked it before we arrived. The bathroom floor and shower were covered in long red hair, and the room in general wasn’t cleaned well. We didn’t have enough towels for everyone and had to ask for more. Breakfast isn’t included, which is annoying at this price, and parking was difficult because there were almost no spaces. My family and I stayed at this Extended Stay America Premier Suites in Melbourne a few weeks ago. My partner checked in around 8:30-9:00 pm, though I’m not completely sure of the time, with our daughter. I arrived about 15-20 minutes later. It wasn’t a good stay. For a “Premier Suites” hotel, I expected better. Cleanliness is the bare minimum, and they didn’t meet it.

I feel especially safe here because the property locks down at 10 pm and only guests can enter. It’s one of my favorite hotels when I travel. The place is always clean and roomy, and it’s pet friendly, so it works for vacations or longer business trips. The kitchen is excellent for a longer stay, with a proper fridge and microwave, plus a nice deep sink that’s bigger than the one at home. The beds are always comfortable, too. Larry from maintenance is knowledgeable and helpful, and does everything with a smile.

I spent about two weeks here. There’s plenty of parking, and the laundry room was really useful for a longer stay. You pay for laundry through an app. The rooms are clean and nicely sized, but the AC has a bad mildew smell, even though it does cool things down from the Florida heat. Breakfast wasn’t great, with limited options and poor stocking. There’s only one elevator in the building, and it’s pretty slow.

The staff made me feel welcome and important, and I’d happily return next year. Jamie brought extra towels to my room and helped me find restaurants and nice places to visit since I’m not from the area. She was friendly and accommodating, as was the front desk lady who took her time answering my check-in questions. My room was clean, nice, and spacious. The whole team went above and beyond to make the stay wonderful. Thanks again to Jamie and the staff.
