Days Inn by Wyndham Memphis at Graceland

The location was the one good thing: it's directly across from Graceland, and we walked over. Check-in was great too. But the property was rundown, the rooms were dirty, and they weren't cleaned at all during our stay, so we had to ask for fresh towels. The website says there's breakfast, but all they had was coffee, a honey bun, and packaged oatmeal. We should have spent the money and stayed at the Guesthouse at Graceland.

We stayed here because pets are allowed and it's across the street from Graceland. Those are the only two good things about this dump. Don't let the photos fool you. The hotel is dirty and run down, with deferred maintenance everywhere. Much of it looks easy to fix, but whoever runs this place seems lazy and uncaring. I can't believe Wyndham puts its name on it. Elvis Presley would not approve.

Whenever I visit Memphis, Tennessee, I stay at this location. The staff are courteous and friendly. I also want to thank the guy working on 9-10-2025. I had checked out that morning, but after I arrived at 5:00 a.m. he let me go back to my room and rest before I had to travel back to Birmingham. I don't know his name, but he was awesome. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I was really pleased with the stay. The bed was just right, the staff went out of their way to help, and the pool is shaped like a giant guitar. The showers had strong pressure and plenty of hot water. The only thing that made me angry was calling ahead: I was told they were full and that a Holiday Inn had rooms, but when I passed the Days Inn and went inside, they did have vacancies. Don’t rely on what you’re told over the phone. Just go check for yourself.
