Helpful staff and secure parking, but the rooms weren’t the cleanest. The hotel seemed short staffed, and some amenities weren’t available, including the closed fitness center. Hot coffee and fresh fruit were out during the day. Don’t count on fresh linens or your bed being made on the first day.

The room was a little worn, but everything worked and the bed was comfortable. What stood out was the staff: the breakfast attendant was friendly and helpful, and even made me fresh coffee after breakfast had ended. The room service staff were kind, too. If you stay here, try Corky's just down the block.

We found blood on the pullout couch when we were getting the kids ready for bed, so we left right away. Three days later, I’m still waiting for management to refund me. There were Asian beetles in every room, and the AC was set to 67 but never got below 73. The TV had no signal. Guest services told us to keep changing channels until they came on. Lobby lights flickered, and the lamp outlets wouldn’t charge devices. They’d overbooked, so families in our group had to switch to a king room with a pullout couch. The bedding was dirty, and when we asked for more, they gave us a duvet cover without a comforter. This place is disgusting. Stay away.

The room was small but comfortable, and surprisingly quiet even though it faced a busy road. I slept well, which is what matters most to me. Breakfast was standard and okay, and the area stayed fairly well stocked despite being packed every day. They didn’t have coffee creamer or a sugar substitute, though. The price worked for us, and I’d stay again. Friday evening, I felt uneasy pulling into the parking lot: two police cars and an ambulance were outside with lights flashing. The front desk crew looked stressed but still greeted me with a smile, and I appreciated their composure. Most of the staff were fantastic. The exception was the Sunday night manager, a grouchy younger woman with curly brown hair who wasn’t nice. She was the reason I didn’t give five stars for service.
