The front desk staff were great, but the rest of the property was awful. The place looked closed when we arrived, and the rooms were filthy, dated, and beyond rough. The windows and other glass looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. I can put up with basic conditions, but this was too much. We couldn't leave because we'd come straight from the airport before a morning cruise and had no way out. I won't return. They charge $20 per person for a shuttle to the ship, just ten minutes away. The building needs to be torn down and rebuilt; that might cost less than trying to fix it.

We only stayed briefly while passing through, and the friendly staff made the visit easy. I even got to check in 30 minutes early. The room was cool as soon as we arrived, which felt great in the Florida heat. It was spacious, the bed was clean and cozy, the shower got very hot, and the cable selection was better than basic. The older bathroom fixtures and paint didn't bother us for a budget-friendly place. It's a ten-minute drive to cocoa beach, though you're not right on the beach. There's a bus stop almost across the street if you don't have a car, and they offer shuttles to attractions. Restaurants are within walking distance, and we enjoyed the small complimentary breakfast. There's also a nice pool for an evening swim and a coin laundry room for longer stays. Convenient and affordable, and I liked staying here.

The front desk staff were nice, but the room was filthy and smelled terrible, so I left after two minutes. There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling, hair and other debris on the floors, a toilet leaking at the floor seal, and a dead lizard between the mattress and box springs. The sheets didn't look clean, and the furniture and air unit were broken down. The outside looked old and outdated, and people were fighting at the entrance. It looked nothing like the photos. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're fine staying in filth. The health department should shut it down, and it's a shame rooms are being sold in this condition.

The woman at the front desk was pleasant, but I checked out right away and found another place to stay. The room had a foul smell, stained bedding and furniture, and dirty curtains. I didn't even bring my bag inside. I hadn't checked the reviews beforehand. This motel is nowhere near a five-star stay.
