Sheraton Metairie - New Orleans Hotel

The room worked well for getting work done, especially the desk, and it was clean and comfortable. I was in town briefly on business, and the stay felt calm and professional. Check-in was quick, the staff were courteous, and there was a little evening noise, though it wasn’t too disruptive. A dependable option for a work trip.

Breakfast filled me up, but I would’ve liked more choices. My room was roomy and clean, with a thoughtful layout that made it easy to work or unwind. The bed was very comfortable, and housekeeping kept things in good shape. Staff were professional and check-in was organized and fast. I heard some hallway noise now and then, but it didn’t have much effect on my stay. Sheraton Metairie was a comfortable, reliable fit for a business hotel.

For a short work trip, the Sheraton Metairie was convenient and comfortable enough for what I needed. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the workspace was functional. Staff were professional, and check-in was quick. Breakfast was basic but fine. There was some hallway noise at night.

The staff who were on hand were genuinely kind and helpful, and they’re the one bright spot here. There just weren’t enough people, which affected the stay, though that isn’t their fault. I’m here for work, booked by my company, and I wouldn’t spend my own money to return. Management needs to give this location serious attention. It doesn’t feel like a Sheraton to me, more like a Quality Inn. Highways surround it, there’s nothing within walking distance, and the property seemed understaffed and neglected. At 3 AM the air conditioner and fan wouldn’t turn on. There was no night maintenance, apparently no security, and the room phone didn’t work, so I couldn’t call the desk. The downstairs restaurant area looked a little dirty.
