I’ve been coming here for about three years when I visit New Orleans. The noise has gone down since the deposit went up, and lately it’s been pretty quiet. The cleaning ladies are friendly, nice, and respectful. The bed is comfy and the TVs are big, though the floors in my room are only ever half cleaned and could be better. The area is okay. The deposit used to be $50 and is now $100. I advise paying it in cash so you get it back at checkout. When I’ve paid by card, they never returned the deposit.

The wrought iron on the building is beautiful, and it’s a nice piece of historic architecture for a Super 8. I liked that it’s just off I-10 and not too hard to get around the rest of New Orleans from there. Prices are excellent for a stay in NoLa. They’ve kept up the usual Super 8 service, cleanliness, and quality. When I was in grad school, they even held space for me to print textbooks and never complained. Sweet ladies.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was decent with a fridge and microwave. Sleep was another matter: there was noise all night long, and I left exhausted. Zombies were walking by looking for trouble.

No coffee pot in the room, though there was a small fridge and microwave, and both worked well. The bed was really comfortable. The ice machine on the second floor didn’t work, but the one on the ground floor did. That was a minor hassle, unless stairs are difficult for you. I didn’t see an elevator.

After being a customer here for a long time and paying for stays of one, two, or even three weeks, I still haven’t gotten good breakfast or good service. Now I’m short on funds and only coming for three days, and they want a $100 deposit even though they’ve known me for ages. That’s ridiculous!
