Esmé Miami Beach

We had such a fun girls trip with my cousin and two teens, and I wish we’d stayed longer. Gabriel greeted us warmly at check-in, helped us get in early, and answered all our questions. The room was lovely and clean, a little small but just right for the four of us. We felt safe and liked the relaxed atmosphere. The included amenities made the trip. There are two drinks per person each day from 5-6pm, alcoholic or nonalcoholic. We hadn’t expected that, and it helped us get into the Miami mood. Beach chairs and towels on South Beach were a big plus, just a block away and already set up after checking in at the booth. We also loved the rooftop pool and lounge, where we had snacks and drinks and played Uno and other games. The teens felt so boujee.

Andy and Larry deserve a shout-out for their excellent customer service. At Esmé Hotel, the room wasn’t very spacious, but it was nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and shower were roomier than I expected. A lovely stay.

Hotel Esme sits on Española Way, right in the heart of South Beach. Step outside and there are twinkling lights, Mediterranean charm, restaurants, and a romantic European feel that makes Miami seem like a movie. The location and energy are a big part of the appeal. The rooftop is a highlight, with a warm, inviting pool for a morning dip or sunset swim. The bar has great cocktails and live DJs, with a fun, stylish atmosphere that still feels intimate and not overwhelming. Guests also get complimentary beach chairs at a beach club a short walk away. The sand was pristine, the water turquoise, and service seamless, which made the beach day easy. The hotel was clean and well maintained during our stays. Staff were kind, attentive, and welcoming. There was cold water in the lobby and even bubbly at the front desk when we arrived. Rooms have thoughtful textures and cozy lighting, with a boutique feel that’s both sexy and comfortable. Hotel Esme has amazing energy, and it’s somewhere I want to return to again and again.

The rooms are small, but elegant in an old money sort of way. I liked the daily bed making and the in-room espresso machine, which made mornings relaxing. The rooftop pool and Spanish-Mediterranean style give the property a quaint feel. It’s two blocks from the beach, close to Española Way, and surrounded by shopping and dining within walking distance in every direction. The location made it easy to find excellent cultural dining experiences. We got two free drinks each night, a free two-hour bike rental, and free beach chairs and towel rental. Staff were friendly, including the head of housekeeping, who asked if anything could be done to improve our room. There was faint music most of the time from Española Way, but it didn’t bother us. Amazing stay, and I’d recommend it.
