Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach

The walls are thin, and you can hear through them and the connecting doors. One neighbor complained about my dog barking, though another dog was barking too and I couldn’t tell whose it was. That same neighbor had the TV turned way up, and I could hear it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but they didn’t do the same for me. In a hotel, call about a problem right away because people may complain about you over a small thing, even if they’re not sure it’s your dog. It’s an older place, and the rooms aren’t soundproof, which is why I gave four stars. I liked the location near the beach and South of 5th, and the staff were so nice, especially with dogs. I was travelling with mine and they gave her treats. The rooms are older, with very slick marble floors and no rug, so they felt a bit cold, but the views were fantastic. Opening all the windows and sleeping with them open was amazing. There’s good food and plenty to do nearby. I’d suggest the Lobster shack and Niki Beach, and Starbucks is down the street along with some great hotel restaurants. I’d come back.

We’re finishing another wonderful visit and already look forward to coming back soon. The Hilton Bentley Miami/South beach always feels like somewhere we belong, with staff greeting us like friends or family. Henry is a standout, as is Joel in concierge, along with many of the front desk team. Santorini is another favorite, with good food, generous portions, fair value, and a great happy hour. The resort’s location is excellent too: it’s far enough south to avoid the Ocean Drive bustle, but still an easy walk to nearly anything in South Beach.

Being able to walk to iconic spots and lovely restaurants made the location especially good, and Nikki beach is right next door if you want an all-day pool party. I also liked that two beach loungers, an umbrella, and bottled water were included. Santorini served tasty food at reasonable prices. Drinks seemed overpriced, though the 3 PM to 5 PM happy hour cuts them to half price. I picked this hotel for my birthday and was delighted with my Hilton stay again. Staying loyal to a brand pays off: my Diamond status got me a gorgeous, elegant suite overlooking South Beach, where I could watch cruise ships head out to sea. Hernan at valet welcomed me with a big smile and was very helpful. Ryan, the poolside attendant, was sweet and laid-back, and set up my lounger just as I asked. Andre, who I believe is the front desk manager, was polite and helpful too. I mentioned the outdoor Jacuzzi spa wasn’t working, and he apologized a lot. He’d helped with the upgrade and arranged complimentary champagne, cake, and a signed card for my room, so I didn’t give him a hard time. I knew it wasn’t his fault. My stay was delightful, and I highly recommend the hotel. I can’t wait to return.

The suite was so spacious, bright, and had a large patio that it felt more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room. The pool area was inviting, and the hot tub was just right for relaxing. Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach is in a peaceful part of South Beach, but great restaurants, cafés, and coffee shops are only steps away. Valet parking was easy and convenient every time. I had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return.
