Nautilus Sonesta Miami Beach

We booked a beach hotel on a whim and loved our stay. The staff at the hotel and on the beach were so attentive, even shifting our complimentary umbrella now and then to keep us in the shade. Complimentary chairs and towels were provided too. Breakfast was included, continental, authentic, and really enjoyable. For the price, the service and facilities were excellent, and I'll definitely stay here again.

I'm still speechless, and I hope management and corporate treat future guests better. After staying here on and off for ten years, I never expected this. In June 2025, I booked and paid in full for the penthouse suite for my wedding on February 28th, 2025, with eight months' notice. The 3,000-square-foot penthouse had a rooftop. Since we live in NY and couldn't view it in person, someone kindly emailed photos and a 360 walk-through after I spent weeks searching for a space big enough for the wedding party and hair and makeup. Two days ago, my travel planner got an email saying the booking was cancelled because of renovations. When we asked for details, the only alternatives offered were one king room with an ocean view, or two connecting king rooms with no view. We asked them to reconsider. Cancelling wedding plans a month beforehand over renovations they surely knew about a year in advance is unacceptable, and we've heard nothing back. We emailed all of corporate, and our guests who booked there to be with us will cancel their rooms too. A few months ago, one of my bridesmaids called after seeing negative reviews about construction. The property told her the renovations and construction would be finished in time and wouldn't affect her stay. Now we have to scramble at the last minute, during high season, and overpay for a smaller suite elsewhere. Please improve your professionalism, planning, communication, and empathy.

Camille at the front desk was a highlight, making sure we had everything we needed and then some. The service made the stay relaxing and easy, and the beach views from the boardwalk were lovely. We also enjoyed the food and location. This hotel was awesome, and we'd come back 100%.

Alexis Margulies gave us attentive, professional hospitality that made the stay especially memorable. We also really enjoyed the service by the pool and at the beach. Our room was clean and well kept, and the South Beach location makes getting to the beach easy. We had a fantastic recent stay at Nautilus Sonesta Miami Beach, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Miami Beach.
